A New York Times article quoted Kerry Kennedy as saying that she remembered getting onto the highway and had no further memory until she was stopped by a police officer at a traffic light. First medical reports showed no evidence of drugs or alcohol. A final toxicology report indicated traces of Ambian, a sleep-aid drug.
